GIRLS NIGHT OUT - THE HENS NIGHT!
Hens/Doe's Night
The girl's all getting together for a night of fun! OH! WHAT A NIGHT! A great time to be had!
|
 |
This night, or get together is usually planned by the Maid/Matron of honour, however anyone from your family or friends may choose to do so. What you do on this
night is entirely up to you, we offer NO words of advice. Except to say HAVE FUN!
The invitation list
Can include all the Brides friends, workmates, female family members, Mother- in- law and any female in-laws of the Bride to be.
In planning this event there are a number of things to consider. Start with your invitation's list and once you have that together and selected those that
are attending, then there are a few things that may need to be discussed.
It's going to be a night of nights and the planning will need to be perfect, especially if partaking of alcohol is involved.
Who is footing the bill, do you (the maid of honour) intend to cover the costs or are you considering sharing the costs with all the other "Hens"
this needs to be decided before you take another step in planning.
The venue or theme may require you to consider the ages of the guests, do they drink?
How far will each guest need to travel.
Will anyone require transport?
What type or style of event suits the majority of guests, remember this is a get-together for a fun time for all.
There are many ways and ideas to help make this a truly eventful fun time for everyone it just takes time to plan it properly and keep the budget in mind.
A few ideas to consider.
Most social clubs cater for a hen's nights and offer a menu to suit all budgets.
Dinner party at home with all the trimmings, Champaign and games are good!
A Finger food champagne event and book a lingerie party and get ALL the guests to slip into something sexy, then put on some groovy music and watch the fun!!
Yeay!
Beach party!
Have a Beach Party (you may need council permission) and hire all you need to have a fun time.
Or you may wish to relax and have others do the work for you. A formal dinner at a Restaurant, then on to a show.
